Operations Reset
You can feel the friction, but it is difficult to tell which problem to tackle first. Work gets stuck, questions return to you, and the same workarounds keep consuming time. You need a clear diagnosis before investing in another system, hire, or project.
Select the challenge costing you the most time.
You’re the only one who knows how half of this actually works.
When processes live in your head instead of on paper, everything slows down the moment you’re unavailable. Operations Reset identifies where that knowledge is trapped and maps a plan to get it out of your head and into a system someone else can run.
Nothing moves until you personally follow up.
If deadlines only get hit because you’re chasing them, you don’t have a process — you have a dependency. Operations Reset pinpoints exactly where ownership is unclear and recommends how to fix it so follow-through doesn’t rest entirely on you.
You’re spending more time managing the work than doing it.
Coordination, status-checking, and re-explaining priorities eat hours that should go toward actual decisions. Operations Reset finds where that time is leaking and prioritizes the highest-impact fixes first.
Every new hire or vendor starts from scratch.
Without documented processes, onboarding takes longer than it should and mistakes repeat. Operations Reset flags where documentation is missing and what to build first for the fastest return.
You know something’s inefficient, but you can’t pin down what.
Operational friction often hides in small, repeated moments rather than one obvious breakdown. Operations Reset maps how work actually moves through your business to surface the 3-5 issues creating the most drag.
You’re growing, but your systems haven’t caught up.
What worked at a smaller scale often breaks quietly as a business grows. Operations Reset identifies which systems are at their breaking point and what to fix before they slow growth down further.
How Wren helps
Wren reviews your pre-session questionnaire, then works through how the work actually happens in a 75-minute WREN Method session: Working Session, Reality Mapping, Enhancements, and Next Steps. You receive a written 2–4 page Operations Snapshot with prioritized recommendations and a 15-minute clarification follow-up within 14 days.
Operations Reset covers diagnosis and recommendations. Implementation, SOP building, systems setup, and ongoing execution are scoped separately.

Financial Operations & Process Improvement
When a performance problem turned out to be a process problem
The challenge
A travel coordinator was repeatedly struggling to meet Finance’s monthly reconciliation deadlines. The existing process required thousands of corporate travel transactions to be manually reconciled against bank statements, and completing a monthly cycle could take weeks.
What April did
During coaching, April looked beyond the missed deadlines and identified the workflow itself as a significant part of the problem. She partnered with the Power BI specialist who had built an earlier reconciliation tool. He brought the technical expertise; April brought the travel-operation knowledge. Together they redesigned the process around current needs so uploaded bank-statement activity could be connected to transaction numbers and organized by charge type, department and employee.
The outcome
A reconciliation process that had taken weeks each month was reduced to one primary working day, with a second day at most for transactions requiring additional review. Manual entry became minimal, and the travel coordinator stopped missing Finance’s reconciliation deadlines.
